Leonid Afremov was a Mexican-Israeli modern impressionist who worked mainly with oils and a palette knife. His subjects included city scenes, landscapes, seascapes, flowers and portraits.
This rare original oil on canvas is hand-signed by Afremov. Born in Vitebsk, Belarus, he later lived in Israel and Florida before moving to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, in 2010, where he taught young artists.
